What is the best Sci-Fi or Fantasy series or book you have ever read?
I would have to say that the Drizzt Do'Urden series was the nest I have read in a while as far as fantasy.
A lot of good battle scenes. I am thinking of play the newest Never Winter Night's series just to check out the Forgotten Realms. I don't think I would however try to be Drizzt. There is definitely a tough time being a dark elf with a paladins heart .
Sci-fi I have to hand it to Ender. I haven't until now under stood the meaning behind Ender Wiggen Dragon Army. This series takes you in with the boy Ender and brings you on his journey 3000 years into a story that totally engulfed me. I really enjoyed the whole series. It gets pretty freak'n deep. It took me far beyond the level of just a good read to the point enlightenment. |

I used to read a lot of Isaac Asimov's books. I really liked the Foundation series. I also read a lot of Piers Anthony's Xanth novels, full of puns, lots of fun.
I read everyday, but mostly online news articles and blogs, have not read a real book in a long time. The last one I read was one of Asimov's, but I cannot remember the title. |

The Ender series were very good. DG suggested I read them and frankly, that was the first sci-fi reading I've done.
I'm currently rereading To Kill a Mockingbird. Sorry, doesn't fit any of your genres listed, but it's good. |

Lol! I recently read Devil in the White City. It was real good. It was about a Mass murder and the Chicago's World's fair of 1893. Whole lotta of historyand intrigue. The Classics are always good. |

Yeah, Atticus Finch. Seeing 'To Kill a Mockingbird' as one of AFI's top 100 movies of all times made me want to reread it and then see the movie again. I'm about 1/2 way through. |
